About Becca
I am a Brooklyn based artist, printmaker, and bookbinder working around the form of the book. I often work with the risograph and letterpress in the manipulation and printing of my own writing, photography, and papercuts, as well as creating installation experiences for my artist books.
I teach book art at various levels, among other freelancing, commissioned projects, book conservation and installation work. I completed a residency at InCahoots (Petaluma, CA) and have shown work at San Francisco Center for the Book, the Zuckerman Museum of Art, UC Berkeley, Mills College, and James Madison University.
I have a BA in English, minoring in book art, and received an MFA in Book Art from Mills College. My work can be found in collection at Columbia University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and UC Berkeley Environmental Design Library.
